Eggnog is a popular holiday tradition but it is not the best for your oral health. It is loaded with sugar and fat, plus when you drink it, it can stay on your teeth for an extended period of time. Sugar that stays on your teeth can dig into your teeth and cause tooth decay it’s best to avoid these sweet treats during the holiday season or you can rinse out your mouth with water after each sip of egg nog.

Lastly, you should schedule regular visits to the dentist. The more your child goes the less foreign it becomes. Your child should be going to the dentist about every six months. If you do this thy will be less afraid because it will be less unknown.

2. Start with your upper back teeth and focus on the front surface of your tooth.

5. Continue the steps above on the surfaces of both the top and bottom teeth.

7. For your top teeth take the tip of your brush and in a flicking motion direct your brush from the gumline down.
8. For your bottom teeth do the same motion but this time you’ll be direction your brush up.
9. After this brush your tongue and inside of your teeth then finish by rinsing with water or mouthwash.
